Mary Burce Warlick is a United States diplomat. She served as the United States Ambassador to Serbia from January 2010 to September 2012. From October 2012 to July 2014 she served as the U.S. Consul General in Melbourne, Australia. In August 2014 she assumed a new role as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Energy Resources at the Department of State. ==Early life== Warlick was born in 1957 to a Lutheran missionary family of Willard and Elinor in Papua New Guinea. She spent her high school years in Adelaide, South Australia.
